'We stayed one night at la bastane and we loved it. It is a beautiful housing with modern rooms and a cosy decorating. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home instantly. We arrived early, but could enjoy a wine tasting. The wines are delicious, so before leaving we bought some for home. We enjoyed a dinner in the garden with an amazing view and sunset. I loved every moment during our stay. The breakfast was also good'

'Partner and I had such an incredible time here. Located between pomerol and st Emillion. Dream location. Owners make you feel so welcome and have an incredible understanding of the locals wines. This is a hidden gem and run by the owners from the heart. Would have loved to keep this a secret but just have to share it. Thank you thank thank you for the incredible days.'

' Beautiful decorated room with a super comfy big bed. The breakfast every morning is delicious and the owner always open for a chat. Large garden and a small gate at the end to go to the vineyards. A small Nespresso machine in the room would make it perfect! ;) We visited Bergerac, Duras, Eymet and Bordeaux. Beautiful area.'

'Unfortunately the experience in the room is poor as we stayed on two nights of unseasonally hot days of mid 30s. Our room faces west and there was no air conditoning. Thebhotels effort to put ina portable air con did not help and was way too noisy. The rest of the property ia great. Recommendation - do request no west facing room. '

'This property is staffed with very professional and knowledgeable staff whose job it is to make their guests comfortable and happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Chateau and took the vineyard and wine storage areas with our guide, Thomas. One cannot go wrong with the comfortable and large rooms here, very isolated that we were able to recover from our jet lag (from the USA) without any road or civilization clatter and noise.
