'The accommodation is very nice, proper and well taken care off. The swimming pool as well as the mountain bikes, the nice terrace and the house itself made the holiday great, but above all the hospitality of the owner Jean and his wife Nou-Nou (we hope we spelled it right) were very nice. Besides the house and it’s surroundings, they gave some good suggestions to visit interesting local/regional places and do some sightseeing. 'The house is really comfortable and centrally located. Groceries in Loudun and trips to Saumur/Chinon are easily setup. The house is cool and has everything you need to spend a day at the pool. Even with young kids like ours. The concierge is really helpful and supportive. In short, we had a blast. Thank you.'

'Het vakantiehuis heeft een grote tuin waar ook genoeg schaduwplekken zijn. De inrichting van de woning is wat gedateerd. WiFi ontbreekt in het huis in tegenstelling tot de advertentie. Wel kan gebruik gemaakt worden van de WiFi in de bibliotheek van het naastliggende hotel/kasteel tussen 8 uur ‘s ochtends en 8 uur ‘s avonds. Qua voorzieningen is het dorp Le Puy-Notre Dame achteruit gegaan. Gelukkig is de bakker er nog wel.'

'The hostess is very friendly. In the add it said there was a washing machine, but the accommodation didn't have one. The hostess is willing to to your laundry for you, however. The nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive. There's lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We had a pleasant stay.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Bois Mort Farm. You can see from the entire accommodation that the host Richard has an eye for detail and you can see and feel this in everything during your stay. The gite is very tastefully decorated, clean and has lovely beds. We stayed in Maison Maurice, which is suitable for 4 people. With a private terrace at both the front and back, equipped with parasol and beautiful and comfortable garden furniture. Richard cooked delicious meals for us several...

'This is an excellent property. The only problem was locating Bois Mort from Gorges. The location appears to be not Garmin GPS friendly. But this was quickly remedied by the owner. This is a delightful spot. We spent six pleasant nights. Many Loire sights easily reachable in day trips. Very relaxing place to return to and host Richard charming, helpful and a very good cook. We would highly recommend this spotless, expertly restored historic property for a Loire region stay.'
