B&B in Saint-Pierre-du-Palais

'The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee...

'The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. '

'Es un hotel petit increible, con bellas instalaciones, una alberca increible con vista al RIO DE LA DORDOGNE, hermoso, recámaras amplias y con una decoración exquisita, con regalos a nuestra llegada, unos deliciosos chocolates y agua embotellada de primera, cerca de muchisimos puntos de interés, Jean Charles nuestro anfitrion, excelente persona. Seguro regresaremos porque fueron unos días inolvidables en un lugar maravilloso.'

'The proprieter and his wife are very interested in pleasing their guests. The accommodation was quite lovely..........but up a steep flight of circular stairs. It lacked a seating area and a chest of drawers. The home-made jams ere wonderful when matched with the fresh croissants in the morning.'
