'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'We were changed to a cheaper room without consultation. Room had onsuite and looked ok, but on closer inspection, there was no WC. We had to use the lobby toilet. Inconvenient and embarrassing for those who need a loo in the night. We recieved a discount on request. Breakfast was initially ambiguous as no clear rules on where/how. Eventually after making a start ourselves, we were waited on. This nice villa is better suited to rent as a whole, than as individual rooms/ guests.'

'Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Moulin de Bacchus. Les hôtes sont d'une très grande gentillesse, le petit déjeuner top, les conseils avisés. Le lieu est magnifique, les chambres spacieuses. Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu ! Nous reviendrons assurément.'
