'This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around. 'We were NOT happy with the overall experience at the property. The main reason for this is the less than satisfactory state of the bathroom and a few other things. 'Dit hotel is gelegen net binnen de stadsmuren van Avignon. Beetje lastig te vinden met de auto vanwege veel eenrichtingsverkeer. Je moet ook wel een beetje goed ter been zijn om de meeste bezienswaardigheden van de stad te bereiken. 'Exceptional place with an excellent host. Everything was perfect. We ended up choosing to forego an afternoon of site-seeing just to lounge around the pool in the court yard. The host and his family went above and beyond to make our stay the best couple of days during our two weeks in France.'

'The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep.
