'We enjoyed a lovely week at the Gite. The house was a very comfortable , cool, converted barn with a well equipped kitchen / dining room and a nice outside space for eating too. The pool area was lovely - very clean and peaceful. The bathroom is relatively basic with only one (separate) toilet. Lovely comfortable beds and beautiful surrounding countryside. Thank you for a great holiday! '

'The hosts are a very welcoming couple. Always nearby to help if you needed anything. So helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Clean accommodation with modern renovation and appliances (the accommodation is a gite beside main house).Lovely pool and bar area as well as attached woodland to explore. 'What a lovely gite this is. A hidden gem in rural Charente, and we absolutely loved our stay here at Chocolate Box Cottage. It is a beautiful spot. And if you want a quiet location, this is it. A real get away from it gite. It is wonderful, and we didn’t want to leave. 'Au calme et idéalement situé pour de belles promenades le long de la Charente ou au parc de Fregeneuil, tout en restant à proximité de la ville. Le gîte est très propre et correspond parfaitement à la description. Rénovation récente et fonctionnelle. Nous y reviendrons certainement pour une prochaine visite dans cette belle région.'
