'We had a very pleasant stay. Nice, rural and quiet place, central for a lot of tourist destinations. Friendly owners.The house had everything you might expect, was clean and spacious. Very good value for money.'

'La Croix was a comfortable and cosy gite with a beautiful garden. You can live the love and dedication that went into the restauration of this Gite. The weather wasn’t the best - like in most places in Europe - but the close vicinity of chateaux, towns at the WII made for a great week!'

'De dorpswoning is mooi gerenoveerd, gezellig ingericht en al het nodige is aanwezig. De binnenkoer is klein, maar biedt voldoende ruimte om te ontbijten of een boek te lezen. Er is geen parkeerplaats aan de woning, maar wij hebben altijd kunnen parkeren naast het kasteel aan de kaai. Via een ‘ruelle’ was het dan slechts 2 minuten stappen tot de woning. Montsoreau is klein, met mooi onderhouden authentieke huizen. Op 700m van de woning is het dorpsplein met bakker, slager, horeca,…'

'The house is really comfortable and centrally located. Groceries in Loudun and trips to Saumur/Chinon are easily setup. The house is cool and has everything you need to spend a day at the pool. Even with young kids like ours. The concierge is really helpful and supportive. In short, we had a blast. Thank you.'

'Fabulous gite in a fantastic location. Great for the Loire a Velo route and lots of quiet roads to cycle on. Very well equipped gite and the owners Rene and Nicole were very helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic holiday!'

'De woning is zeer goed uitgerust: alles wat je maar kan nodig hebben in de keuken is er. Lakens, beddengoed, handdoeken in de badkamer. Alles lag er netjes bij.Heel rustig gelegen, vlak bij de Loire. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als het weer meezit kan je lekker buiten eten... Wel even opletten met de locatie: dat is niet Huismes (ligt onder de Loire op de kaart) maar wel La Chapelle sur Loire ( en dat ligt boven de Loire). Als je veel wil fietsen: de "Loire à vélo" ligt dus...

'Het vakantiehuis heeft een grote tuin waar ook genoeg schaduwplekken zijn. De inrichting van de woning is wat gedateerd. WiFi ontbreekt in het huis in tegenstelling tot de advertentie. Wel kan gebruik gemaakt worden van de WiFi in de bibliotheek van het naastliggende hotel/kasteel tussen 8 uur ‘s ochtends en 8 uur ‘s avonds. Qua voorzieningen is het dorp Le Puy-Notre Dame achteruit gegaan. Gelukkig is de bakker er nog wel.'

'Lisa, Mark and Tom were wonderful and kind hosts and made us feel welcome right away. The accommodation has a beautiful, well-kept garden with a fenced heated pool, which was lovely! Our toddler also really enjoyed the swing, slide, little playhouse and toy cars in the garden and while she was playing, we could relax in the shade of one of the many trees. Our gite (Le Petit Logis) was tastefully decorated and while the upstairs bedroom could get warm during hot summer days, the living room...
