'Avons réservé une chambre dans ce bel établissement authentique de Dordogne. Avant de partir de Bordeaux, j’ai appelé pour savoir s’il était aussi possible de déjeuner, grand bien m’en a pris car notre déjeuner foi gras et cœur de canard était juste un régal assaisonné comme nous apprécions. Puis avons été accompagné à la chambre. Une chambre certes petite (mais cela était bien dans le descriptif) et refaite à neuf où rien ne manque (serviette savon etc etc). 'A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!'
