I will start by saying that most of the staff was friendly and accommodating when we encountered issues with our stay. We reserved two family suites to accommodate our large family while visiting from out of state. The room we were first assigned was not thoroughly cleaned. There was food in the primary microwave, which didn't work. Another microwave was placed on the counter, taking up the already limited counter space. There was garbage in the garbage dial disposal and bath/shower had toothpaste wiped on the wall. Halfway through our stay, we had to change rooms after we returned to find a light bulb had taken from the socket and busted, with glass shattered all over the floor. The room they moved us to (not a family suite) was a nicer, renovated room that smelled and appeared much cleaner. The toilet seat, however, was not functional, and we had to wait until the next day for maintenance to come tighten the seat.
The hot tub was cold the first night we tried it, but was properly heated by the next time we got in. The pool lights wouldn't turn on after dark, despite attempts by the staff to turn them on. At one point, we requested clean towels and they were out of clean towels.
It definitely seems like some folks are permanently living there. We didn't feel terribly unsafe, but I wouldn't let my kids out of my sight. We will not stay here again, despite friendliness of staff.
