'This was a sweet house. Very clean, with lots of places to sit outside. Unfortunately for us, we did not have good weather, so we were restricted to indoors. Anyone thinking of renting should be warned that there is a single bath on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is small - with a single small table and only 2 chairs, so, meals were around the couch. the kitchen is small, but well for incidentals like spices. 'We came to Virginia from Michigan for our friend to visit with family she hadn’t seen in 12 years they live on Vetrans hwy. this was about as close as we could get a rental. It was wonderful. Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. 'Wow! This is an amazing place, my 11 year old daughter liked it more than the house we stayed at in wintergreen last year, which was very nice! 'Beautiful house, sounds of the river and the crickets was so relaxing. Didn’t catch any fish but the grandkids loved playing on and in the river’s edge. Large backyard for them to run around in while we could watch from the deck or the fire pit area. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy God’s beauty. Would gladly go back again. 'The property is beautifully situated on top of its own little mountain. The views are absolutely stunning and is cozy and quiet. Some of the activities /or close store to pick up forgotten items require some trawl by car. If going during winter will suggest to have chains those mountain roads are curvy. Overall would possible look at renting during the summer months to go tubing on the river or fishing. My entire family enjoyed the stay 8 adults 2 children and 1 puppy🤓'

The master on the main floor was perfect for the grandparents, and there was plenty of space for the rest of us to have our own spaces on the second floor. The cabin is exactly like the photos, but with even more charm in person. Beautiful view and amazing deck. Well stocked, comfortable beds, great communication with host.'
