Charming cottage that is really clean and convenient to multiple attractions in Georgia and Tennessee Right size for this middle aged couple. The cottage is well lit - inside and out. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Additional outlets or long surge protectors would be useful in the bedroom and living room (especially if you need to charge multiple electronic devices). The bathroom is lovely, but the tub is a bit slippery, and the single sink wash basin is a bit small. The washer and dryer are right next to the basin and make a great space for toiletries. We did not use the hot tub or take time to enjoy the shaded backyard or side yard hammock. There is a gas station with restaurant and convenient store across the street - a good landmark to find the turn to the cottage. As others have stated, there is a grocery store a mile away.

Our stay was very enjoyable, and the property was in an excellent location. It was less than a mile from a grocery, across the street from a gas station, and 20 minutes outside of Chattanooga.

Perfect for what we needed

The house was just what we needed for a short weekend getaway. We came into town for a half marathon and needed somewhere to relax and recover both before and after the run. The hot tub was a great bonus. The house is perfect for two, I wouldn’t want any more. Very clean and surprisingly quite despite being on a main road.

Lovely property

This property was very nice. We really enjoyed seeing Chattanooga. No problems. I did stop on our travel there bought bacon, sausage, and eggs to make a nice breakfast our first morning there. When we got there NO frying pan. Would not recommend this property for seniors as the property is on a hill an was very un-level for walking the dog in the fenced-in yard. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub was very nice.

Will not suggest this property

Very pungent smell inside. Broken glass and dead animal in backyard. Gas station directly across street seem to have a lot of traffic of people yelling at each other. Thick Cobweb hanging down from porch light. Was not able to sleep there.

Cute cottage

Great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood. Dogs enjoyed running in the back yard. The bed was very comfortable. Was a great Middle location between look out mountain and Chattanooga. Really enjoyed our trip. Was very easy to book and get information and access. This was our first trip with Vrbu and I was nervous, but it was a wonderful experience.

I was extremely disappointed as soon as walking into the home in which I text the host about. The floors are extremely creeky, the house smelled like old dog, and IS NOT for a family of 4 (maybe a couple with 2 small kids). The “pull out couch” is a small, hard futon, definitely not for a 12 and 16 year old. I would’ve paid extra for a home that truly accommodated a family of 4.

Dog-Friendly Cottage getaway

Lucky`s Cottage is dog friendly and has a little fenced in yard for the dogs to play. The cottage is very clean and well kept. Nice hot tub and firepit. Had everything we needed to cook and help keep things clean. We enjoyed our stay! Communication with property manager was easy. Has stores close by to buy food and gas. Chattanooga is about 20 minutes away.

Nice place

It was a good size for our family of four (3 humans, and 1 dog) for the trip we had planned. We did lots of hiking and it was great to soak in the hot tub and have a relaxing dinner. The fenced in yard was great for our pup. A small negative, which is not the hosts fault, was the brightness of the gas station across the street shining into the living/dining room, nor was it an issue in the bedroom. When we arrived the code we were given did not work, but we received an immediate response with a different code that worked; great responsiveness.

Proximity to Chattanooga attractions

Very small, quaint and cozy home. Has a beach cottage meets grandma's house in the country vibe. Very bright, light, breezy and airy. Fenced yard for the doggos. Located on a main thoroughfare but didn't have any noise issues. New appliances. Smart TVs and good wifi. Only 15 minute drive to the Incline Railway in Chattanooga.
