« we had such a peaceful weekend getaway here! the river views were absolutely stunning — seriously one of the best parts of the stay. the house itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with everything we needed to relax. communication with the owner was super fast and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free.the only heads up is that since it’s right by the river, there were quite a few mayflies around in the evenings — but that’s just nature being nature! we stayed inside after...

« This is a nice little place in a quiet area of Dixon, easy to get to off of the main route. It was a great central location for us to stay while we visited family in the area.The two rooms downstairs worked out well for two of the guests that couldn't do stairs well and my son and I shared a room upstairs.Brought back many memories of going to my grandparents' farm. The old wood doors and floors just made it feel and smell the same as my childhood. Even saw some wildlife during our stay and...

« The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms...
