Chalets in Roaring Gap

'My adult son and I were in the area for the NASCAR race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, about 30 miles away from the Surry Inn. The hotel was very accommodating to our late-night arrival. Our room was clean, quiet and perfect for our weekend stay. This is the 2nd year we have stayed at the Surry Inn and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.'

'Great'

'Truck noise all night long.'

'amazing'

'The room was dirty, I booked through Expedia and got a call the day before and was told I had to pay right then or the room would be given away. It smelled, the towels were dirty and it just was all around not comfortable. I usually give the benefit but I honestly wont stay here again. We stayed two years ago and it was decent, not sure what happened.'

'This will be our new midpoint when traveling to see family!'

'This modest two star motel offered an affordable, clean, and safe room in a convenient location for my one night my business trip. However the room had a foul smell (mold, mildew) and the breakfast offerings were minimal in choice and quality (powdered coffee creamer, sugary cereals ,) Fortunately, a good diner across the street offers various breakfast options and fresh coffee.'

'Clean an quiet cabin. Nice hot tub and a big deck to sit on and enjoy nature from.'

'The cabin and surroundings were clean, quiet and peaceful. My dog especially loved exploring a new area. The host was very accommodating, especially when my friend accidentally left a homemade quilt of sentimental value. The host made the retrieval process easy and convenient. We will definitely be back!'

'I think the property was great close enough to town but far enough out to feel secluded in your own home away from home. The only problem we had was there were some things that could’ve been a little cleaner in the home. The loft had some dead bugs unfortunately but most everything else was quite clean.'
