« Place was very clean. Bathrooms do not have air. On One of the beds the pillow cases had mascara on them. Beds were comfortable . The owner communicated well with us. Loved the coffee bar. Very peaceful location !!! Loved the back area with view of the lake . Thank you for a great stay ! »

« I had to come to Brownwood for work training, and I wanted to stay somewhere quiet on the water. This place DID NOT DISSAPOINT. The owners were awesome, I had to stay an unexpected extra day. I will definitely stay here every time I come here for training. I really was a nice peaceful week! I would 12/10 recommend. »

« Loved everything about the Hot Dog cabin. Very cozy and clean. The best part was coffee on the back porch with a view and watching tons of cardinals and squirrels. My girls also loved the friendly tuxedo kitten they visited the front porch. They called him Tuxie the hole time. Would recommend and we’ll be back »

« It was the right size for our family gathering. I would say it was built in the 1960s, so it has some age on it. We all enjoyed the spacious living room, nice-sized kitchen and 2 full baths and a half bath. We had to clean the outdoor areas. Very dirty. The frig door was full of used itemd. Pots and pans old, grungy and unusable. »

« Home was fine for fishing trip.A/C worked well and it was very hot. Location was about a 15 minute drive to the dam to launch. The Wild Duck was fairly close and had good food and friendly waitstaff. »

« If you are coming to Brownwood, this is an excellent place to stay! It is clean and bug free. Moonyeen and Don were absolutely wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to every request or question we had. They were both so kind and helpful. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed. The house is nice and affordable. « I can only imagine how great this would be if the lake was full instead of only half. Dogs loved the fenced yard and the views were great. The water is pretty far away now but wouldn’t be if lake wasn’t so low. Very well equipped with necessities! »

« Nice big house with a boat dock, near public ramp. Other rentals on same property, use same boat dock. Plenty of parking for everyone. The stairs in the house are very steep. House needs some maintenance and lots of big spiders on the boat dock, but overall, we had a great time. The neighborhood was without water for a day and a half. »
