'We booked the reservation on VRBO as we have done in so many instances, and always paid VRBO directly, who in turns, compensates the property owner.Someone texted me on WhatsApp 1-2 days before the trip saying they were the owner & we needed to pay them in addition to what we already paid VRBO.
