'Very nice place decent location but unfortunately when they electricity goes out, they don’t have back up generators and it’s really hot and muggy in your room. They give you a candle but with no lighter to turn it on I think for the amount of money you spend it should have a little back up generator to have the AC working. They only have a generator working on the common areas as in kitchen and bar. I guess they do that to keep the revenue coming in. '

'Hay muy buena atención, la encargada es muy amable. El orden de la parte exterior puede mejorar pero la ubicación es espectacular ya que estás a unos pasos del mar sin estar lejos del pueblo. Se puede mejorar las reglas de convivencia con los demás inquilinos.'

'Basic beach house very close to the shore, quiet location and very pleasant. A good place to relax and tune out distractions. Kitchen good for cooking and comfortable bed. Air-conditioned bedroom is cool but if twin beds in living room are used there are only fans. Only issue was internet which was not available for part of the stay. Support staff very nice and welcoming.'

"We had an amazing stay at Villas HM Palapas del Mar. We traveld with 2 families and got upgraded so we could stay in 1 villa, this included a pool on the ground floor. The villa and rooms are very nice and spacious. Cleaning was done evey day. The food and drinks are great and the service (also on the beach, which is a 1 minute walk) is amazing. On arrival we opted for all inclusive, a good choice if you spend most your daytime near the hotel and like a drink every now and then. Only point of improvement in our room was the showerhead/hand shower. We stayed for 5 nights during our 15 day trip in yucatan. This we experienced as a good amount of time before leaving home."
