« Cozy Bear Den was a comfortable and peaceful retreat for us. Alex & Kate have thought of every detail to make their home a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped so we could easily prepare meals. We enjoyed the sauna after our daily hikes on the north shore and relaxing in the living room or patio at night. Perfect place to stay for any season!! »

« We *loved* our stay. I knew the location would be great (basically next door to the International Wolf Center in Ely), but I didn't know in advance how spacious, quiet, and green the place would be. We enjoyed playing a number of the board games in the evenings. My spouse and I were both especially taken by the adorable groundhog who lives outside under the deck, and who popped up at times to bathe in the summer sun. »

« Very happy with our stay! Perfect back deck view of the peaceful, quiet lake. Well stocked & organized kitchen. Kids loved swimming in the lake and canoeing. Saw loons, eagles & a black bear near the property. Close to town & tourist attractions, yet far enough away to feel like a remote getaway. Had a great week! »

We spent most of our time hiking, but our time spent at the Studio provided everything we needed, especially the wonderful, easy access to the lake.
