Cottages in Phinda Private Game Reserve

'Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 1 night. The major draw back is the location : very remote in the middle of nowhere. No TV and no WiFi. Only suitable for people who seek to “ be away from it all”!'

'I loved this place, convenient for a stop over on the way to the coast. The dinner (Stew & salad) was amazing!! Lovely rooms, with private outside area where you can sit and listen to the birds. Definitely recommended.'

'Our first time at Thanda and we loved it . The staff were all wonderful and could not do enough to help. Zeepo and Zee were the best guide and tracker we have ever had on safari . The spa treatments were great and the food , while not fine dining, was really tasty . Really lovely atmosphere and vibe around the place and supportive of the local Zulu communities . We wanted to go back in October but it seems to be fully booked for our dates 😢'

'The property is beautiful and I loved the boardwalks through the forest. The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly - they went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the chef made a delicious curry even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the lovely stay!'
