« Great stay. We brought more than just food but food would have been all we needed. The house had everything else we would have needed. Especially liked the Blackstone grill for making smashburgers. Liked how the main living area was all on 1st floor and all the bedrooms were on upper level. Would definitely stay here again if the area is in our vacation plans again. »

« The house was super cute, everything was bright and very modern. The host definitely made us feel welcome with fresh cucumber water, smores basket, snacks & cold water in the fridge upon arrival. « Overall the property was exactly what we were looking for to host our family vacation this year. Being right on the water and within walking distance to Indiana Beach (5 minutes) allowed our family to have a ton to do during our stay. « House was a great location if you are visiting Indiana Beach. Literally a 3 min drive right around the corner from the main entrance. Less than 10 mins away from groceries and fast food to south. Owner was pleasant, but communication was not great. Messages through VRBO took over an hour or over night to get a response. « The property and home were delightful.Our family of 13 had a great time. Host was very gracious when we had some.annoyance from an erratic smoke alarm.and a.dishwasher that would not start - neither of which probed to be a major problem. »

« Beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the boat slip, watching birds and ducks pass by. Very relaxing. »

« If you want a peaceful setting that is easily accessible from I-65, this is the place to go. Easy checkin, everything very clean, outdoor deck is very nice. The windmills in the fields are so cool! It was perfect for a meet-in-the-middle get together. We will be back!! Thanks Missy! »

« Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! »

« We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location. »

« The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy. »

« The cottage was absolutely perfect for what we needed at night (two couples to sleep) and above expectations for what we needed during the day (an outdoor entertainment area with amazing lake access).
