Serene southwestern style custom home in SW Reno NV. A great location within minutes of downtown nightlife, skiing, hiking, and many exciting events. Enjoy the Reno Rodeo, Artown, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Barracuda Championship PGA Tour Golf Tournament, Hot August Nights, Burning Man, Best of the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, The Great Reno Balloon Race, National Championship Air Races, Street Vibrations and much more!

This home has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make your special meals. A double oven, microwave and a large refrigerator will make you feel right at home. You will find pots, pans, crock-pot, platters, cooking utensils, spices, and condiments at your finger tips. There is a pantry, family games, and a few extras for your convenience.

The living room is large, sunny and inviting! A gas fireplace, TV, DVD, stereo, surround sound, internet, and large windows will make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

Room 1 - Master bedroom with queen sized bed, fireplace, walk-in closet, TV, reading room and private bathroom. The bathroom offers a large double shower, Jacuzzi tub, and double sink for your comfort.

Everything was perfect! Welcome bowl of fruit was a great touch and we loved that the house was decorated for Christmas. A home away from home! Although the house seems older it was clean and comfortable. The house had everything you needed and more, and with everything labeled it made it easy to navigate around the home with ease. One recommendation from our senior parents....rails leading up to the home in garage and possibly front door would be helpful. We would gladly use this home again in the future.

La Choza is a great place to stay in Reno

My wife and I along with our daughter and teen aged grand daughter spent the weekend at La Choza. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood yet only a few miles from the airport, downtown and all other Reno amenities. It's spacious and extremely well furnished - especially the kitchen where all drawers and cupboards are labelled with the contents. There are also private outdoor spaces to enjoy. The house is just like the pictures on the vrbo website. The owners provided fresh fruit and flowers which were much appreciated. We will be back if we need accommodations in Reno for an extended stay.

Better than the listing

We just stayed at La Choza Amorosa for a family reunion in Reno. The place was better than it looked in the listing! Lots of little touches (basket of fruit waiting for us, Aveeno shampoo and conditioner in the shower, etc.). Everything was very clean and felt like we were staying in a nice hotel. The backyard was bigger than we thought, perfect for the kids to run around. The TV room is enclosed with glass walls and doors, so the kids could watch a movie while the adults stayed up playing games in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely and comfortable home! We could not have asked for more. Raphael was so accommodating, responsive and helpful. Their home is unique and perfect for a family gathering. La choza property

We stayed with 4 adults for street vibrations motorcycle rally. The property is accurately described. The kitchen is amazing if you like cook. Love the use of the full garage for our motorcycles helmets jackets ect. The backyard is huge, it could use some better lighting. The toaster needs to be replaced. We left a note. The beds are a queen size only wish they were king size and more comfortable. The couch is nice but the recliners are very hard to operate. The cushions slip off easily. The Iva machine does not work so bring ice. The trash compactor does not work yet there were no extra large trash bags. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

An oasis in the middle of Reno

We stayed at La Choza Amorosa for a class reunion. It was just what we needed for a relaxing visit in Reno. The house is tucked away off the street so you really don't notice any traffic. It is surrounded by gardens and a water ditch that gives a serene/quiet atmosphere. The house is very organized, everything was labeled, making it easy to find anything you might need. The entire house was stocked with items (spices, pots, pans, cooking tools, etc... even facial products in the bathrooms). The owners are very organized and leave lots of information for out town guests to make them feel right at home. I felt so relaxed and didn't want to leave after our 5 day visit. The next time we are in Reno, we hope to stay here again!

You know that VRBO Commercial? :)

I know you've seen it. The VRBO Commercial that shows you a perfect vacation getaway. :). Well, this property is one you will love! We only stayed three days, but it was wonderful! Reno is a bit of an out of the way destination for us, but if we go back that way, we will 100 percent book this property. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place except, if you are a Senior (like me), you might struggle with the stairs and the low rise toilet in the Master Bathroom. But since there are three bathrooms (one a few steps away from the Master, this is not a problem). There is a 1/2 bath downstairs. There is everything you need for your stay. Fresh condiments (including hot sauce) in the fridge, coffee, tea, and even a few things in the pantry if you are starving, fresh fruit and flowers! :) Everything was labeled and the kitchen was beautiful with everything you would need to cook a meal. Appliances were great and in working condition. A great washer and dryer, too. Awesome place. Great place for family gathering. The house was very clean! The garage was a blessing too since we were on a road trip and we needed to unload our stuff during our stay. If it was hot, this would be a great plus. We loved the neighborhood, and pretty close to every place we wanted to go. Our host was very accommodating, and easy to reach. A huge plus. The beds were very comfortable, the decor tasteful. The yard amazing. BBQ too! You will love this place!!! Lovely property!

Easy check in beautiful home spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers and fresh fruit awaited us. Everything you could want and need was available including spices oils coffee lovely dishes and pot and pans. Wonderful landscaping and grill and grill equipment. I have never stayed at such a clean and totally equipped rental.

Great place to make your home base

We traveled to Reno to visit our son and his wife. We stayed here for four days and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. The home is beautiful and in a great location. The host had the home stocked better than any air b & b we have stayed in before. Anything we needed and some we didn’t were there and available.
