'This is a beautiful property and breathtaking setting. Nestled up against the mountain, nature is up close. You can even see the High Camp tram from the property. The building encloses on three sides a beautiful park/courtyard with paved walkways, mature trees, and various seating, outdoor games and recreational features, including a swimming pool and three hot tubs. The Olympics history is also seen and felt. The Tyrolian-style building was built as lodging for the 1960 Olympics athletes, and...

'During our stay, our first room had an insect problem, and we were bitten while staying in it. The staff responded courteously and moved us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the replacement room had serious problems of its own: the lighting did not work properly, leaving the room very dark, and the electrical outlet directly next to the bed was visibly burned. Because of these conditions, we will not be returning to this place.'

'You can take the TART on-call bus to the hotel. We chose to walk it from the town center--we took the train--but it was a moderate up-hill 1.3 mike walk with luggage. Not terrible but used the free bus when we caught the train the next day.'

'Location is great. Property is a little quirky. Rooms are fine, my only complaint is the bathroom. Sink with hardly any space to leave toiletries, and a very plastic showercurtain. Staff was welcoming on arrival. '

'We stayed one night on our way through Truckee. This Springhill Suites did not disappoint. It was very comfortable and clean and I would pick it again if I get a chance to go back to Truckee.'

'Staff was friendly rooms were clean'

'Hele mooie omgeving. Gratis parkeren. Zwembad gesloten wegens onderhoud.
