Vind je ideale hotel in Merengebied

'We booked through Expedia the Common Man Inn. My confirmation said off site. When checking in we found out it was up the street on the left. The Lodge. It was not inviting like Inn property. Lobby was not fresh and clean. After further research there are multiple properties and this one is, Common Man Lodge not the Inn. It is a two story motor inn that they remodeled. 'The house is stunning; it feels like it did 140 years ago, with beautiful furnishings from that time period. Our room was very large, with a comfortable seating area and an extra area with lots of stained glass that really brought in the natural light nicely. Even though our room was steet-side, the traffic noise was negligible. Our stay was much quieter than a hotel room in a similar situation. We didn't see any guests until breakfast the next morning. These are small cottages, which are not soundproof as advertised and the unit we were in did not have a view anything like what was pictured in the room that was selected. It also states a 24 hour front desk which was not the case. There were issues with things not working properly in the unit.'

No elevator on our side of the building, only on the side that had suites. 'We hadden erg uitgezien naar ons verblijf in Bay Point van Mills falls at the lake; de foto's waren immers veelbelovend! We kregen echter niet de kamer met het raam én het zicht op het meer én het terrasje zoals op de foto, maar een kamer op de bovenste verdieping met weliswaar zicht op het meer maar beperkt en niet te zien vanaf het bed. Verder was de kamer prachtig ingericht in nautische stijl, alles nieuw in prachtig witte en blauwe tinten. Mooi meubilair, praktische badkamer. Lekker...

'The shower and bathroom were not cleaned prior to our arrival. The staff took care of it after I called and let them know unfortunately after I was in the shower. Housekeeping came right away to clean the whole room.'
