The cottage itself is so cozy in a beautiful setting very close to the downtown Beaufort waterfront. My daughter loved the loft area. Would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were full of anything you could need for your stay. The view of the water was amazing and the home is located only blocks from local shopping and dining. My only improvement would be to specify to guests where to park. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
