'I enjoyed my stay and recommend staying there. I decided to stay after taking the bus from Beijing to see the Great Wall on a tour. The next day - I could explore the wall and the small town on my own. The accommodation was nice and the family that runs the hotel/homestay was really friendly. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed generous portions of good food while I was there. I also organized a taxi back to Beijing after my two night stay with the owner. 'Peaceful, respectful and tastefully set retreat right under the gaze of the mountains and the great wall. Staff were very accommodating and professional and helped with travel, hiking and access to and from the great wall. Food and room were really good and gym/spa facilities 24hr opening very welcome to soak in the mountain air. Well worth a visit for a day or two. '
