'I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. Great kitchen to cook...

However with such a great location to all that Portland has to offer taking a quick walk to whatever strikes your fancy is highly recommended. 'The property is easy to find, everything clearly marked. The house was spotless. We hosted our family for Thanksgiving and the house had a wide variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans, serving dishes. Our host provided additional/new dinnerware service for our group.The best part is the walk to the beach, which is indeed steps away. The beach area is off season, but we easily found a fantastic place for pizza AND for breakfast one morning. '
