Pensions in Rangárþing ytra

'We booked this accommodation due to limited alternatives. It’s extremely expensive, even by Icelandic standards. The biggest surprise came via email after booking, advising us to take a bus. The listing mentioned a shuttle and that the place was only accessible by 4x4 or a scheduled bus with a surcharge—but it never stated the actual cost: €64 per person, one way. For four people, that would have added €512 on top of the €360 already paid—completely out of proportion. Had this been clearly...

'Heel eenvoudig, goed voor 1 nacht. Jammer dat je niet kon avondeten. Goed was de sauna en hottube.'

'Très bien. Resto à la ferme.'

'We enjoyed the location. We saw the northern lights and there is a hottub. The bathroom was clean and the people were nice. '

'Een prima guesthouse, dichtbij gelegen bij de bezienswaardigheden. Een super keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. '

'Guesthouse is okay for 1 night. We had a triple room. Spacious room. '

'This cottage is amazing and a big recommendation for anyone wanting to spend the night away from the lights of the towns. You park right next to the cottage and you look out over a large field. There is no noise as the cottages are located on a quiet road. When entering the cottage everything is modern and clean. The shower is great and the beds are very comfy. When sitting on the couch you have a great view of the area and you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. During our 10-day...

'Greatnlocation if you wanna explor east Iceland , golden Circle and reykjavik and dont want tompack up and mive every day. Room are neet and clean #2 with private bathroom is what we had. Walls are thin but as we only slept and left straight after it was fine as we were tired exploring friendky people and free tea and coffee from the breakfast area was a bignplus'

'This was a great place to stay, although a little bit out of the way, still within striking distance of Selfoss. Being out in the sticks a bit I believed helped in our viewing of the northern lights while we were there - that was awesome. Bed was really comfy and the room well equipped. The shower was interesting since there was no door or curtain on one side so challenging to keep the water from going everywhere!! Hot tub was really nice - very relaxing - and the shared “kitchen/bar” area...

'Check in was very easy (lock with a pre-send code). Parking was extremely easy, right in front of the building next to the main road. Room was spacious and clean. The free bar of chocolate was a really lovely touch.'

'Kamer met 2 bedden geboekt. Bij aankomst 1 klein tweepersoons bed tegen de muur. Drie keer geprobeerd te bellen om het op te lossen, maar er is geen receptie en het beschikbare nummer wordt niet opgenomen. Voordeur schuift over de grond en maakt veel lawaai en het is erg gehorig. Lastig als mensen nog laat binnenkomen of erg vroeg weggaan. De afwerking in de kamer zelf laat ook behoorlijk te wensen over. Wel was het schoon.'
