'Helemaal gelukkig met dit fantastisch gerunde hotel! De kamers mooi, groot en schoon. Het ontbijt uitgebreid en het avondeten heerlijk!'

'I stayed at this lovely hotel in late March 2026 for two days as a single female traveler and I felt safe, secure, happy, I rested very well. This hotel is walking distance to everything I wanted to see, and they make some yummy samosas for breakfast! Thanks for the memories Heart of the City by Rashmi! <3 '

'What a great hotel! We really enjoyed our 5 days here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. It was great to have the breakfast at the cafe downstairs and the restaurant on the rooftop upstairs, both had an amazing range of food options. Everything was neat and tidy. And the room had plenty of space for us to fit our child on a wrong away bed. We would definitely stay again.'

'Location'

'All good'

'Our family of four stayed here for two nights. It is a traditional building that is over 100 years old. Returning from the bustle of Jaipur city and entering the room through the courtyard, we found a quiet, spacious, and wonderfully atmospheric space. We also enjoyed the view from the rooftop. Located close to Jaipur's sightseeing areas, it was a truly perfect stay. Thank you.'

'This luxurious hostel is exactly as has been shown in the pictures! The private rooms are very spacey and we enjoyed the king size bed a lot. Jay (the manager) is a super friendly and always open for a chat. He is super warm hearted and funny, and helped us out with any problems. The food in Amano (their restaurant) is delicious!'

'Breakfast can be little better'

'Heerlijk hotel. Echt authentieke 'haveli'. Goede prijs/kwaliteit. Voor...

'Clean room, good cafeteria and friendly customer service'

'beautiful hotel en good services. '

'"A humble budget hotel" describes it more honestly than the hotel describes itself online. It isn't a "heritage" hotel, that's just the parent company name. The room was clean enough and the shower was good. Only two pillows for a kingsize bed. The Wi-Fi was non-existent and un-secured. The restaurant is small, dark, and windowless. The food is okay. They say they have a 24 hr. airport shuttle but two online booking requests went unanswered. Good location for bazaars, City Palace. The staff were...

'Good affordable option'

' Hotel ligt zeer gunstig.

'The Shakun hotel is well located in the city and just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main road; it's great for tour pick-ups and grabbing an Uber to dinner in the evening. The hotel is a little dated and perhaps not quite as grand as it once was. We travelled outside of peak season and it felt like the staff had been switched to a less experienced team who perhaps weren't as knowledgeable about service. However, they were always really friendly when we approached them. However,...

'Personeel was super!!!'

'Very nice building with a lot of character. Kitchen staff, especially, are very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the rooftop terrace and relaxing atmosphere. Lots of renovation work going on so a bit dusty. '
