'If you are going to San Gimignano for the first time, this is a must place to stay. The hosts greet you when you get there and are on site all day. They knew the town, the places to see and recommended all the right places. They certainly didn’t cause the transportation strike but they solved it for us. 'We enjoyed our stay in this small apartment in San Gimignano. The apartment was very clean, had beautiful views, and the location was excellent for exploring the town on foot. The views were especially lovely and made the stay feel very special.A couple small things to note: the apartment was a bit dark inside, but since we spent most of our time out enjoying the area, it wasn’t a major issue for us. 'Excellent location if you are with your car. Restaurants are about 10 mins from the hotel. We were in a big apartment with two bedrooms. Apartments do need some tlc. They are old and here and there breaking. Bring your own coffee and teas for the room as they don't provide any. Breakfast was poor and unhygienic. Overall ok for a 1 night stay but super overpriced for what you get. '

'Overall the stay was good, but there were some issues. I paid for a specific blow dryer for the trip and they told me last minute it was given to another customer. Also, the air conditioning temperature is locked and the apartment did not cool down so it was very uncomfortable sleeping. Lastly, the shower is so small you can barely move in it. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it was decent and the host communicated quickly.'

'This property is well located in walking distance to all the sites and train station. It sits next to one of Florence’s beautiful bridges. The grocery store is right around the corner. Being able to walk easily to the train station made it ideal for joining travel tours that typically meet there. 'The location is the best aspect of this apartment. You are within walking distance of Palazzo Vecchio and the neighborhood’s historical points of interest and shops alone will take a day to explore. The apartment was very dusty - ledges, floor, walls, patio, everywhere. My allergies were very irritated. The ironing board cover was wet due to the dirty, wet mop head that lay against it. 'Great location just two blocks from the Uffizi and Galileo museums and the Palazza. Great restaurants up and down the street. There are stairs to get to the first floor and at times there could be better lighting. The apartment is large with heat amenities including clothes washer and drying rack. Lovely area and I would stay here again.'

'Il Rivalta – Place of Charm is a clean and well maintained property in an excellent central location. The room was comfortable and nicely designed, and the surrounding area is full of character and within walking distance of Florence’s main attractions. While it wasn’t completely quiet at times, the overall experience was very pleasant. A great place to stay in Florence.'
