'We stayed in the Deluxe Queen room for four nights in late February. The location is ideal, one block off of Duval St and a short three block walk to the ferry terminal to Dry Tortugas. Our first two days there were unseasonably cold and the heat was not working. One quick note to Brightwild mgmt and they brought us a space heater! We then had a sink not draining and again, one quick message to mgmt and they had a repair crew in with parts right away. Built in 1869, expect an aging building....

'It was clean enough but, considering that we were not able to check in not even a minute before 4 and we were charged a daily fee for cleaning, I would not have expected details to be overlooked. For example, air conditioning filter needed to be changed and bathroom had burned out bulbs.'

'The unit was clean and equipped well. Check in and out was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and off the beaten path but in a few blocks, you are in the action. This unit is very small and great for a single traveler or couple that doesn't mind close quarters. Not a lot of storage for clothing, one small closet, no drawers. A/C unit is kind of noisy and runs constantly but does its job. '
