'Then last 2 times I have stayed there, its been an issue checking out at 11, or we felt unwelcome and like we were an issue. Also both times they have unlocked and tried to come in at 930am.'

'We had no wifi in the room, Had to sit in lobby to do anything on the phone. The drain in the bathroom was clogged. They were not able to resolve either issue in the 5 nights we stayed there. The kitchenette had no stove or hot plate. Also, they charge you if you don't wash and put away all the dishes. Room service came to make our bed only 1 day despite us putting a notice on the door to make our room. Also, we booked a snorkeling tour and were not told that there was a $140 booking fee...

'Locatie ligt net buiten Brisbane, maar wel dichtbij het vliegveld. De naam Shangri La doet vermoeden dat het aan de grote keten verbonden is, maar dit lijkt een onafhankelijke uitbater te zijn. Het interieur van de kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon. En gratis parkeren voor de deur is een pre. Het gratis ontbijt, stelt niet heel veel voor, maar wel prettig om iets te hebben in de ochtend voor vertrek als je vroeg bij het vliegveld moet zijn. Op de locatie zelf is niet veel te doen, wel...

'From the outside the motel is dispiriting. Inside the room is well finished, clean and fresh. Great shower. We chose this motel for its proximity to the tennis centre and enjoyed the Adonis cafe on the way.'
