Cabanes à Quechee

« Private and secluded, the house offered a nice view and relaxing setting. Excellent access to Quechee and Woodstock. Kitchen has lots of dishes, adequate utensils and cooking pans, but bring your own dishtowels and napkins! The stated rent was reasonable, but the cleaning and other fees are exorbitant. The house was clean on the surface, but we in need of more careful and deeper cleaning in places, such as the windows, window sills, and the deck. Not a great value for a short stay for two...

« Lovely cabin, well situated not far from a cute town and surrounded by trees. Convenient drive to a nearby park. The path to the nearby lake goes through a muddy path, so they were kind enough to create a bit of an elevated walkway… the only drawback was they used around one or two dozen wooden palates as part of this, lying them flat on the ground…. during our stay a few of them were rotting, so planks snapped if you weren’t really careful, or were just unlucky, and rusty nails were exposed....

« A cute and neat cabin to spend a short summer vacation. Everything is at hand. It's off busy streets and highways, and you can watch all kinds of animals right at the cabin. »

« I was very happy with this stay. The furnishings are comfortable and the cabin is stocked with essentials. Mud-room is super helpful!! Couple of minor issues such as bathroom sink did not drain and dust/droppings under the bed indicated the prior cleaning was good but not thorough. »

« Great place - second time we've stayed here. Plenty of space, well-equipped chef's kitchen - great for cooking and entertaining. If you have kids or family and want to cook for them, this is the place you want. Private and cooled in the Spring/Summer by all the trees - great place to stay while visiting Queeche, Woodstock, and beyond. »

« The house was exactly what we were looking for! It was so clean and had a great layout. The house felt really private and the area seemed pretty quiet and peaceful, no noisy neighbors. Our older kid loved having the bunk house as a bedroom. And the screened in porch was the most perfect and comfortable place for us to have all of our meals. I was a little worried about the lake when we first arrived. The house is located in a grassy part of the lake. But it is a quick boat ride to the sandbar...
