'We had a very good stay. Nice property, well maintained, in a private location yet relatively close to amenities. It's an old building brought up to 21st century standards, with retaining its original features like the woodburning fireplace, exposed beams and brickwork. Great shower upstairs. Lovely garden as well, with olive and palm trees. You need to know a few french words in order to communicate with the friendly owner (lives in a nearby village). The area is stunning.'

'Mooi huis, schoon en het contact verliep goed. Aanrader! Aandachtspuntje is dat de terrastegels spekglad zijn als ze nat worden, maar dit kun je oplossen door er een grote handdoek overheen te leggen. Mocht je hinder ondervinden van muggen; koop een flesje natuurlijke muggenverjager met citronella en voeg er zelf een druppel etherische olie van oregano, teatree en kruidnagel aan toe. We hebben geen last meer gehad!'

'I really enjoyed my stay. Everything I needed was there, and the views are beautiful. Wonderful walks to Cathar castle ruins from the doorstep. Comfortable bed, great view (and stars at night with jetlag) from the bedrooms as well. Highly recommend!'

'The property had several positive features, including a garage, reliable Wi-Fi, a convenient location, two bedrooms and bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen.However, the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, there were visible signs of dirt and mold in some areas. The downstairs shower required cleaning before use, and the refrigerator and washing machine also needed attention. Some dishes and bedding did not appear fully clean, and the property had a noticeable musty...

'Une semaine parfaite dans la maison du Merle. Des beaux espaces, un bel aménagement, des chambresnparfaites. Deux grandes salles de bains tres bien. Mention spéciale pour la piscine et les espaces exterieurs avec la cuisine d'été pour les dej et diner, les tables de la terrasse pour les aperos et la petite cabane du bonheur pour les enfants avec moultes activités manuelles dispo. Un grand merci !! J'ai failli oublié la vue... parfaite pour les lumieres de fin de journée.'

'Davids Apartment hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Modern eingerichtet, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Alltag braucht. Schöner Garten, super Blick auf die beleuchtete Mauer von Carcassonne. Nur wenige Minuten Fußweg zur Festung von Carcassonne. Nah gelegen an der Aude und dem Midi Kanal mit sehr guten Spaziermöglichkeiten für unsere Hunde.Einen Parkplatz haben wir auch leicht gefunden. Lag vielleicht daran, das es Oktober war.Der Supermarkt Le Clerk war auch leicht zu finden...

'La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...
