Boomhutten in Puno

'The location of this small hotel was perfect, directly at the shore of the lake, with rooms with lake view (we could choose our own room!). The owners were very hospitable. They picked us up at the bus station themselves (while our bus was an hour late!). One of them spoke fairly good English and he explained us a lot about the surroundings. The hotel was situated about 12k outside of Puno, it was a very quiet place. The owners were always willing to take us to the center of Puno (15 min drive)...

'BEautiful hotel on Lake Titicaca in Puno, Peru, with a dock to walk right to the lake. The staff is courteous, the room is clan and with beautiful balcony facing west and a view of sunset. The food options are limited but OK. Breakfast does have some vegetarian items for vegetarians or vegans. I was greeted with a welcome plate of alfajores (Peruvian specialty sweets) left on the table in the room at my arrival. That was nice - alfajores were delicious! Thank you Casa Andina! 'Staff was excellent. Restaurant was great food with a great view. I loved the garden alpacas and cuyes. My only real issues that do not affect the rating as they are more general to the city itself are that a lot of tours will not get you if you do not stay in the central area and you probably should not walk outside of the central area unless you want to deal with lots of street dogs. Take a cab, they’re very inexpensive.'

'Zeer vriendelijk en betrokken personeel. Erg behulpzaam en klantgericht volgens Europese maatstaaf. Kamers zijn netjes en douches hebben warm water. Internet is erg snel, snelste internet tot nu toe in Peru. Ik zal dit hotel zeker aanbevelen.'
