Unbelievably well appointed home maybe the best we have ever rented. Everything that we would have ever wanted in the kitchen was there, high quality towels and linens. Nothing about this experience screamed "rental home". Wonderful having nature out of both sides of the house, and the neighborhood chickens kept us company on the back deck. Wonderful experience.

Perfect for the family

The home is beautiful, very well appointed, in a great location for enjoying all the north shore has to offer. The pool was such a treat. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some great meals. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together in the great room and outdoor spaces.

Kauai stay

Our stay was absolutely amazing and the rental company was so easy to work with and so communicative! Check in was seamless and checkout was relaxed. Our group had 6 adults and 7 kids under the age of 4 and we all fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare! The kids LOVED the pool- they swam everyday :) If and when we come back to Kauai we will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely Princeville home

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Highlights included the beautiful great room (it rained a fair bit, so we spent time inside), the accessible location, the large pool and peaceful surroundings and the nicely decorated bedrooms. Kitchen was also nicely appointed.

Amazing vacation rental

Lovely house with amazing pool. Excellent location, beatiful clean big house. It has everything you need for comfort. Home does get hot, esp on sunny days with little breeze. Love Princeville so was extremely happy we found this home to rent, will def rent again.

Amazing Home

We loved this home! In a quiet neighborhood on a corner lot with beautiful vegetation surrounding the pool and providing privacy. The pool is the BEST feature. We couldn't get the kids out. House has everything. Wish it had A/C in the other rooms though especially the upstairs one. But otherwise extraordinary. Short walk to park, stores, shopping, restaurants and amazing beaches nearby. Garage has six beach chairs, sand toys, a few life jackets and three boogie boards. We used all of it every day.

Amazing vacation

We had the best stay at Lei Aloha. The house was more than perfect for our large family and exceeded all of our expectations. The location is wonderful. We loved the pool and being able to take a break and just hang out at the house, but still have something fun to do for the kids. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Great way to have family together

Was a vacation to have adult kids and significant others get together with parents and renew family connections and relax from the last 2 yrs of the pandemic. Large enough for eight adults, and home has been updated with the upstairs bedroom remodeled and full bath put in so each bedroom has basically an on-suite bathroom. Lots of areas to hangout with the pool and then the golf course side along with the great room. Nice to have a bathroom out by the pool too to change or just go potty in a wet swimsuit. Grounds well cared for and would rent again. One thing we did enjoy with the advice of my oldest child was we hired a private chef to cook for us a couple of nights and was great, relaxing, played games with the family while the appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts being prepared and the chef cleaned up after the meal, so able to enjoy each others company in the evening with some drinks. We had talked about going out a few times during the week, but getting reservations for 8 and wanting great meals meant $$$, and my son felt since already planning to do that, could use that money for a chef to come in and cook. So really was very comparable to going out to eat and not coordinate a reservation and presented a longer time in evening to enjoy meal as it was prepared. The kitchen in the home was able to support the chef except for all the serving plates needed for each course, so a little cleaning of plates occurred once per meal. Some something to potentially add to your visit. If you just like burgers and simple meals and cook for yourself, then not the thing for you. Just need to plan in advance for this option and contact a chef before going to the island to see if available. So a great time had by all and great location to get groceries and see the north end of Kauai.

The house is called “luxury home” which at one point was accurate, but now it feels very used.

We are a family of six (2 adults and 4 kids all under 12 years old). We travel a lot and many times in Hawaii and Kauai. The home is large and sprawling, which would work well for groups of people staying together. The house layout is in the formation of the number 7, with the master taking up one section. If you have small children, you will be far from your kids. Each room has its own bathroom. The deck on the lanai is beautiful and seems to be new. We were already on the island and had to check out at 10am and wait until 5pm to check in. We packed up the kids and all of our belongings and drove around Kauai until 4pm where we picked up the key from the office. We were greeted with a note saying we had early check-in, really? Why did no one call or text us or send us a message via the app they ask you to download? Upon entering the house, we were greeted with a musty smell, which is not uncommon for houses on the North Shore, but was disappointing as it lingered the entire stay even with all of the windows open. Lesson learned, ask before you book if there is that smell. Upstairs bedroom: there is one wardrobe for clothes, but no drawers. So we ended up with clothes stacked all over the room. Not ideal. The mattress is uncomfortable, it even has an egg crate foam mattress, which didn’t help at all. Kitchen: all plates and mugs are ceramic, which are not practical if you want to use them in them microwave, you will get burned unless you use hot pads, which for warming up a cup of hot water for tea, is not practical. You have to warm up in one cup, get a hot pad to pour into another cup. Outdoors: the garden needs attention. When we arrived surprised to see the grass long and unkept, which is so unusual for Hawaii. We let the property manager know and they sent someone to mow. That being said, there are lush plants all over the place, which is great, but they need to be trimmed back. You can’t walk to the pool without bobbing and weaving around the plants or else you will get wacked in the face. There is a trellis falling over a wall. All easy fixes. Simple fixes to make the house better: The family room could use even a basic Bluetooth player to play music Towels are thin and sparse. I would recommend upgrading the towels and providing more. Bedding needs a refresh 2 ply toilet paper not 1 ply No paper towels or Kleenex waiting in the house. Would be nice to have even a few to start the stay. We would not stay here again.

A wonderful stay!

This home was the perfect place to gather as a family and enjoy the beauty of Kauai. We had friends and extended family come over and enjoy dinners and time in the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the grill almost every evening. We also enjoyed all the pool toys, beach chairs and cooler when we went to the beach. The property manager gave us all the information about check in and check out in a timely manner, and it was an easy process. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. I hope to return!

What a house! My family of 5 (with 3 teens) had a truly fantastic stay. It's luxurious, well stocked and configured to offer privacy & space for all. The view from the upstairs bedroom is not to be missed. Best part is the chicken highway out the back door!

Lei Aloha...Home away from home

This property was perfect for our family of 8. Just beautiful. The outdoors is as stunning as the house. Total privacy! If we weren't at the beaches we were outside at the pool. The views from the pool area are incredible. The house was well stocked. The kitchen, cookware, linens, beach towels...plenty of all we needed. The second refrigerator in garage was great. The beach chairs and cooler were used on each outing. The neighborhood is pretty and neighbors are friendly. Kauai Vacation rentals made the rental process effortless and they were so friendly. Thanks everyone!

Loved our stay at Lei Aloha!

This was a great family house. We all had privacy when we wanted and the great room accommodated all of us. The pool was a nice addition. Even though the beaches are beautiful they were often too rough for the little ones. The pool was great for effortless entertainment and fun! The garden was spectacular and private. We loved our stay!

Beautiful home and stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this house. The homes layout was perfect, with a wonderful kitchen and living room. The house had everything you would need. The front yard with the pool was beautifully landscaped and very private. We enjoyed spending time in and by the pool. The first day there, we got a noise complaint while the kids were swimming and we were asked, “why we weren’t out enjoying the beach”. It was between 12PM-2PM, so that was quite strange. The house would be perfect, if it had AC throughout the house and not just in the Master bedroom. Otherwise our stay at the Lei Aloha was very enjoyable and we would book this rental again. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Lei Aloha to others.
