Perfect for one person or a couple, this quiet, comfortable studio is a cozy home away from home. The big picture window in the main room looks out onto a grassy area with fenced yard and spectacular sunset views. This freshly painted studio has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There are 3 steps into the studio from outside and it is not wheelchair accessible. The main area has a love seat and queen sized bed. The full kitchen is equipped with a full-sized range, refrigerator and microwave. Along with smaller appliances like a Keurig and drip coffee maker, blender, hand mixer and toaster. Also included for convenience are spices, cooking oil, coffee/tea and coffee supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies and trash bags. The oak cabinets are fully stocked with all the cookware you need to create a great meal if you feel like dining in. The quaint dining table seats 2 and has room to set for a full meal.
Birch Cottage also features a walk-in closet and a shared new stackable washer/dryer in the laundry area just off the closet. There is one bathroom with a pedestal sink, roomy shower, plenty of hot water and lots of fluffy towels. There is free Wi-Fi and Direct TV with HBO. A flat screen tv which is visible from all areas of the room.
In the shared, fenced backyard, perfect for your pup, there is a patio table, umbrella and 6 chairs. There is also a shared covered patio in front, with table, chairs, BBQ and a fire pit (see pictures) We have on-site parking.

Birch Cottage, Aspen Cottage (VRBO #679470) and Cedar Cottage (VRBO #679471) are on the same property. They work great for individual renting and could also be used for a family reunion, or friends all attending one of the many events Prescott has to offer. Located on one of the prettiest residential streets in the historic district, South Mount Vernon is just 5 blocks from the downtown square and you can enjoy walking past the gracious historic homes on the lovely tree-lined street to get there.

Excellent Cottage

What a very nice, comfortable little cottage in a great location. Nice amenities and very clean. Although we didn't bring our dog this time, we will for sure on our next visit. Bonnie was super responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in and even extended a late check-out, which we didn't need this visit. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location, great owner

I had a great 10 days as a single woman in Prescott for part work part vacation. This must be the most charming residential street in Prescott, walking distance to the plaza; a few miles from Trader Joe's, Target, REI, and Costco; and 15 min by car from many fantastic hiking areas. Bonnie was an excellent communicator and manager from initial inquiry to end of stay. Wifi worked well for work. I really appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked because I like to balance home cooked meals with restaurants. It was great to be able to do laundry. I enjoyed the outdoor patio when no other guests were around. I'm used to sleeping on a much firmer mattress but was still able to get a good night's sleep.

Loved historic Prescott and it was walking distance from where we stayed

Outdoor cushions in courtyard were torn and dirty, we used towels to cover them. Adjoining residence was doing laundry at 11 at night which was very disruptive to us. Perhaps laundry services should be limited prior to 9:00 pm since it adjoined our bed by a door. Floor lamp was broken and vent cover above microwave was not attached so fell off when we opened the door. Otherwise lots of towels and amenities and overall very clean inside.

Delightful Studio Accommodation’s

1st off, located in a beautiful area of renovated Victorian Homes… a historical area. Close to the library and the Courthouse all within walking distance. The Unit has a great kitchen, fully stocked with any type of pan needed. Plenty of towels, plus paper products and the ambiance is top notch. A delightful little back-yard. Pets allowed..Mia loved it! Plus a s beautiful little patio filled with potted plants, Tiger Lilly’s, Foxglove, Roses…. Just beautiful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent & Accurate Description, Relaxing Property

The manager, Bonnie is a very considerate & kind person. The property is very nice with a small backyard with singing birds! The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need including a w/d. I stayed in the studio cottage with my little dog & we have been delighted with it. The cottage is very clean, and Bonnie makes you feel very welcome. I stayed an extra week, and may have to stay another week & Bonnie has been very accommodating. The overall location is on Mt. Vernon street which is also a gorgeous place. Parking & motion sensitive lighting make it very safe. I would stay here again & highly recommend this property & manager.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage - just enough space for us with our dog, and the fenced in yard for him was a huge plus! Everything was clean and well stocked! We’ll definitely look for this again the next time we are visiting!

Prescott Cottage

Great little place that was reasonably priced. The location is great, this cottage is located in a beautiful historic community. I've stayed in Prescott many times both in rentals and hotels, I was happy with this choice. Owner was quick on responding with my last minute reservation and was helpful and kind to my needs.
