  • Escape to the Lost Sierra away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're looking for rejuvenation or quality family time, this is the place! Cozy up around the fireplace, play some games, read a book or simply disconnect and enjoy the silence. This roomy 2,800 sq. ft home has been recently updated with our guests needs in mind. Located within 1 mile of Davis Lake where you can spend a lazy afternoon fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. If it is golf you prefer, Grizzly Ranch Golf course is just 7 minutes away and is ranked in the top 100 greatest public courses in the nation in 2021 Golf Digest. Not to mention 4 other golf courses in close proximity! Maybe you want to explore Graeagle? It just a short 1/2 hour drive away. Or sip a craft beer at Brewing Lair in Blairsden. For those people that want to explore what Plumas County has to offer, there are many great places to see such as Frazier Falls, Lakes Basin or Sardine Lake.
    Hiking, biking and wildlife viewing is plentiful in the area during spring, summer and fall. In fact near the Davis Lake dam you will notice the bald eagle nest. During the winter months at the lake, you can spend a peaceful afternoon ice fishing or snowshoeing. For the adrenaline junkies bring your snowmobiles - there are plenty of places to go nearby!

House was clean and great for two families. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs - that was the only thing that needed clarification. Nice quiet neighborhood. Good communication with host. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect getaway “ cabin in the woods” that we were hoping for!!! It had a gorgeous deck amidst the towering pine trees, a cozy wood burning stove in a large open living room, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lisa was a very responsive guest and made us feel like welcomed guests at every stage of the process. We enjoyed the welcome gift she left for us all decorated with a bow! We would definitely stay there again!

Everything was stellar! The home is comfortable and as described. The kitchen was well designed and spacious. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen had everything I looked for. I would have liked sharper knives and I left a note for the host. Love the main bathroom with the separate free standing tub. the shower was spacious too.

Great property! Clean, quiet and beautiful setting. Kitchen was well stocked to meet our needs. Comfortable beds and living room furniture for lounging. I suggest making pillowcases available for the extra pillows as we were not able to find any. Some small repairs and maintenance should be reviewed (for example, small hole in slider screen, outdoor patio cushions ripped). There is ample parking. However, with our large boat and long bed truck, it was very difficult getting through the narrow trees and manuevering around them for parking but we were able to leave the boat elsewhere.We would definitely recommend staying here.

The place was perfect for getaway to the woods. Super comfortable and cozy and you can tell the hosts really took a lot of care in the furniture, bedding, kitchenware etc. Definitely would recommend. We couldn’t have been happier with the stay.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Plenty of room for everyone including our dog. The location is gorgeous and we got to enjoy lots of wildlife. Close to Lake Davis and Portola.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The house was awesome, well stocked with all the necessities, decorated very nicely and really comfortable. Parking was not a problem and we had 5 trucks with 3 of them towing a boat behind. The communication with the host was outstanding and very prompt. There isn’t anything I wished was better. As an fyi, the road to the house is a dirt road with a bit of an incline. Not a problem with dry weather. Snow or rain might make it a little challenging without 4WD. We had 7 people stay for a fishing trip and all found a comfortable place to sleep. We hope to be staying here again.
