Pensions in East Cowes

'We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular.'

'The owner was very hospitable and most welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable, couldn't ask for more in a place to stay.'

'We had a wonderful break. Very friendly'

'Terrible! Worst experience in a hotel ever! The outside building and front look nice but it’s a facade. Our room was on the backside, you have to pass a trash area and an ugly fence to get there, feels like you are put behind in a shed somewhere. The stairs up to the room were dirty and worn out. A dirty cleaning towel lying next to our door. The whole room was worn out, paint coming of etc. The bathroom so small you couldn t use the sink when you had the door open. The shower was broken,...

'De eigenaar was erg aardig. Verder lag overal tapijt, waren de badkamers etc oud. Alleen bier te krijgen en de bardames waren zeer onverschillig en ongeinteresseerd en vroegen tot 3 keer toe naar ID van de kinderen als ze een biertje bestelden. Na 3 dagen heb ik zelf om schone handdoeken gevraagd. Veel herrie van de kroeg'

'Amazing place to stay! Will definitely be booking again when I come back to Hampshire'

'Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine.'

'Really friendly staff and good location, but the hotel is quite outdated and the beds were not very comfortable. '

'I would definitely recommend and stay here again Paying to park was perfectly acceptable but as I’m not too good at small print would have preferred it as optional directly when booking All features and amenities were well thought and and bed super comfy'

'Heel propere kamer. Wel redelijk klein, de economy room. Heel vriendelijk koppel en een super ontbijt!'

'A nice room and good location for public transport into Southampton by Train or Bus. Convenient Co-Op and choice of take away food shops. I felt that some small changes would have raised my score, including: Toilet Seat properly fixed. Sufficient crockery and cutlery for 2 people, including glasses, desert spoons (there were none) dinner plates. TV (there is an aerial socket) Toaster Small changes, make a big difference.'

'Zeer aanbevolen'

'Beautiful house and excellent accommodation. Great hospitality after our (too) late arrival. Many thanks to Sarah and Jean-Pierre.'
