It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. 'The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.'

'This place is amazing! We arrived too early for check-in; however, the staff said they could keep our luggage at the front desk until we returned. 'On our recent trip to Japan we wanted an authentic experience staying in a ryokan. We were greeted by an extremely attentive staff who whisked our luggage away to our mountain view room.
