'Very clean and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed for one night on the start of a motorcycle tour in Spain and Portugal. Breakfast was included and was very welcome. We arrived quite late as we had problems getting off the ferry at santander. The staff left our room key in a safe lock and sent us a message. That took the pressure off us getting to the accommodation before reception closed. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.'

'Estuve un par de días en Febrero 2024 con mis hijos de 4 y 7 años y mi marido. La casa nos encantó. El entorno es inmejorable : Naturaleza, cerca del rio… en un pueblo con algún bar (a 5 min del alojamiento ), tienda de ultramarinos y panadería- quesería pegando a la casa. La cocina con menaje super completo( tostador, batidora, cafetera nespreso) y con electrodomésticos funcionales (microondas,horno y lavavajillas). 'Prachtige omgeving, zeker voor hiken, echt weg van de drukte, en het was ook erg goed eten in het restaurant. De home suite was groot genoeg voor ons (fam van 4), netjes en hoewel niet luxe mooi afgewerkt met houten balken en vloer, met funktionele ikea-like keuken en douche, en grote ramen die een mooi uitzicht op de bergen geeft. Geweldig hotel, zou er zeker weer naar toe gaan.'

Colunga is just a mile or so away from the hotel to the west with many bars/eateries to choose from.'

'We were 4 friends on a motorcycle trip through the Picos. This place looked amazing in the photos so we booked it. It was amazing when we got there. Situated in a quiet town overlooking the mountains, the place was beautifully kept, the staff were great, the food was very good, and the fact that our command of Spanish was very poor didn't stop us from having a great overnight stay. We didn't use the spa so can't comment other than it looked very nice.'

'Place was a dream. Chalet style property, first class operation. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for more.. the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We met the son of the owner who explained the history of the property. Loved it. Hope someday to stay again.'

'This is a beautiful, grown up place to stay. Our room was immaculately clean, yet had lots of personal touches. The bed was so comfortable and the ensuite shower room was spacious and perfect for us. The sitting rooms are peaceful with coffee, biscuits and a range of Spanish art books to flick through.
