'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'Great location near Paia shops and short walk to Mama's Fish House, & beach. Enjoyed our stay at Kuau Plaza. The condo was just as described and pictured. Nicely furnished & decorated. Comfy bed, everything you could need in the kitchen, nice bathroom...all looked brand new! Although right next to the road, we barely heard the traffic. We would stay here again.'

'This condo is really is close to the ocean. Swimming pool just feet from the condo patio surrounded by a lawn with lounge chairs and BBQs for your use, then a sea wall. You can hear the waves breaking, but can't see them unless you stand on the sea wall. There is no sand beach close by, but if you walk to the end of the street, Haycraft park is there with nice sand beaches. If you sit on the patio the air conditioner is all you will hear when it is running. The condo is older and not well...

'The door code we were given wasn’t correct, so we had to use the phone at the reception to call the after hours number (this was just after 4pm, so check in time, strange that check in time is not within normal office hours). Luckily they were able to provide the right code so we could get in.The studio is smaller then the pictures show and smelled terrible. The smell was moldy in especially the bathroom and cabinet in Living room, but the smell was everywhere. The studio, not condo, was old and...

'Rating: 9/10 The condominium was very clean, modern appliances, well stocked and a great location. Very good budget value. Nice pool. Parking lot was a little sketchy looking. The place is close to downtown and the Hilo airport. Almost next door is Wailuku River State Park and close to Lili’oukalani Gardens - they make for scenic runs or hikes. Vivian was very quick to respond.'
