'Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks on the South Island, Ratanui Lodge provided the best service and hospitality. Firstly, the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them and the two ladies we dealt with went out of their way to give recommendations and ensure our stay was fantastic. 'While driving to the hotel, we thought we would end up by the containers in the harbour but a turn to the right brought us to this charming core painted one storey hotel. Lovely and friendly hosts - our room overlooking the yacht marina was fantastic as we had a balcony to enjoy the views.
