'Tall beautiful trees outside our window! Being able to sit in comfortable chairs outside our room and enjoy. Thank you! Public beach close by - would be nice to get the swimming pool fixed though... I know, it's costly, but for some of us "Oldies" Lake Tahoe is a bit chilly. But no complaints, many thanks!'

'The location is ideal close enough but far enough to the activity. Rooms are well appointed, clean and are a small efficiency. Parking is easy. Property is beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to numerous restaurants and a quick walk to the lake. Only thing missing was a second mirror outside of the bathroom, so that one can put make up on or do hair while other is showering. '

'The Alder Inn is very well located in South Lake Tahoe. Nice setting, very close to the beach and about a 30-minute walk to the stores and restaurants in Heavenly Village. Property seems a bit dated and it is a bit weird that there is no staff on-site. This did not hinder my stay however. The rooms could use a bit of an update, to bring them a bit more into 2024. But it was comfortable, rooms are spacious and it's very easy to get too.'
