'I was unable to contact the host. They did not respond to my emails and the phone was disconnected. I received an automated email from VRBO with the check in instructions but it it was wrong. Despite numerous calls to VRBO in the preceding week, they would not and refund the payment until I turned up at the property. When I arrived, the host was not aware that the property had been rented. I eventually received a refund but the whole experience was a disaster. '

'I was selling a house in a neighboring town and needed a place to stay that would accept my cats. We were welcomed immediately. It's a beautiful unit in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Close to BART and downtown Castro Valley. '

'I had a great stay! Kolibrie Huis was a perfect tiny house. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable, and centrally located. The garden and private patio were very peaceful with real hummingbirds around. '

'I booked my trip for a Thursday to Tuesday. Stay, I needed to change my booking to a shorter time and the host was very prompt and considerate of the changes. I needed the booking for an event at the convention center and it was only 8 mins away. The neighborhood is beautiful and the house.Was very comfortable and accommodating. Not once did I have to worry about checking in or the booking going smoothly. I high recommend this host and would defently stay again if needed'
