Berkeley Plantation

We were unable to send or receive cellphone calls inside the building. We had to go outside to call someone. That shows the old age of the buildings.

Wedmore is a wonderful place to stay and enhanced our visit to Williamsburg with its historic charm. Clean, comfortable beds, very quiet, lovely view of the woods outside our window made for a memorable stay. The staff is amazing, helpful, warm and welcoming. The breakfast is described as continental but is much more. Quiche, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and more, served on china with coffee being served to you at your table. The wine tasting that was included really added to our stay. I would absolutely stay again if in the area.
