'This is a great hostel. Very clean, right on the beach, incredible service. It did get rowdy at night, but was not a trashy vibe at all - fine if you were not trying to party. We are a couple in our 30s and enjoyed ourselves.'

'Building is brand new and sqeeky clean. The staff was sweet. Big problem is no curtain on the window. Only one top sheet and no comforter. The manual control air conditioner is 9 feet up, I am tall and can't read the control. Room is tiny, sorry to say. Awesome location.Located near five star hotels so you get what you pay for '

'DO NOT BOOK! - this place does not exist anymore (we were talking to many people in town - no one new this place). Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they don‘t care that they have properties on their website which doesn‘t exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone.'

'I booked 7 standard triple rooms for two with two separate beds yet you gave only 6 rooms rooms with only one bed. I send an email to clear about it because my payment is too much for what was given for accommodation but no response. The website cover for the resort is deceiving showing the picture of the beach claiming its near the beach front but the real location is very far with narrow and muddy alley. The breakfast they serve is only bead and egg which when you are booking saying...

'Vi ankom til en mudret byggeplads uden varsel. Turen derhen var besværlig, og beliggenheden var ikke god, men nærmere elendig, sammenlignet med det der står i beskrivelsen. Badeværelset lugtede, var klamt, bruser var ubrugelig pga. vandtrykket var så lavt. Værelsesvæggene var også klamme og beskidte. Indgang til værelserne var jordede og ofte mudret, som man tager med ind på værelset. '

'Had an incredible stay with my family at Bahala Na. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. The staff were so friendly and helpful with planning our stay and daily activities. Villa was really comfortable and we loved the convenience of the in-room menu which had so many yummy options for kids as well. Great location, with only 5mins drive to Lio Beach and many restaurants, shops and activities. Will definitely be back!'
