'We had such a lovely stay here. Yes, it is a bit pricy but compared to all the terrible hotels in el nido this is really value for money. We had the casita with sea view which was just beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful! I really dont see hoe people can rate this hotel badly. Loved it!'

'Echt een top hotel van de bovenste plank! Zeer dicht bij de airport en het stadje is gemakkelijk te bereiken. Bij aankomst een snelle check-in en direct door naar een gloednieuwe kamer! Hotel moet nog worden afgebouwd, maar wordt alleen maar mooier! Ook het naast gelegen Lio beach is erg leuk om heen te wandelen en wat te eten of te drinken!'

Make sure to book tours and spa treatments. We were lucky to get them in but should have checked ahead of time. The resort is very relaxing. '

'Het is echt prachtig van buiten, maar helaas zeer slecht onderhouden van binnen. Zwembad is gevaarlijk, bestaat uit kleine steentjes die voor een deel gebroken zijn. De ligbankjes in het water zoals op de foto zijn weggehaald omdat het allemaal stuk is. De bovenste verdieping heeft prachtig uitzicht maar er zijn geen ligbankjes meer. Enkel een paar poefjes. 'Pros - A view to 'die' for - New Swimming pool and Jacuzzi Cons - No extras - for everything in addition (extra coffee, water, etc. you have to pay for) - Owner should be less visible and not use the dinner place as his office to keep an eye on the staff - Rooms OK, but need some maintenance. 'Het was een adembenemend resort, prachtig een uitzicht, mooie kamers, een kleine gym waar je prima je workouts kon doen. Er zijn 2 restaurants op het resort helaas is de keuze erg beperkt en is de dagkaart een kaart dat ze de 5 dagen dat we daar waren ook aan hielden. Dat was het enige minpunt. Staff was super vriendelijk en je kon elke dag gratis verschillende excursies doen. Het hotel samen met de plek en de excursies was het echt het allermooiste plekje waar ik ooit ben geweest.'

The pool area and gardens in the hotel are awesome and definitely a great place for children. The "restaurant" (which was actually the pool bar serving food) could improve a lot on quality though. 'We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cadlao Resort. Located a little out of El Nido town it provides an ideal place to take a few days rest during our busy travel schedule across Asia. We especially enjoyed the pool with the great view, great rooms (luckily without a TV - who needs a TV here...), great breakfast but most of all the extremely friendly and helpful staff. All the staff seems to be smiling all the time and really care about their guests having a good time. '
