We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken. The other lights in the room was for the bathroom sink and the toilet/tub area. I took the lamp from the bed area to the front desk and asked for another. There were none available. Maintenance came by about 10 minutes later with a lamp for the bedside and he noticed we did not have a desk lamp. He came back with another lamp. We could not figure out the TV and called maintenance to teach us; it was too complicated to do a second time. In the morning we took showers and could not turn off the water to the shower. We could reduce the water pressure, but it would not completely turn off. When we got out of the shower we noticed that there was no curtain on the window that looked out over the street (not a frosted window). The carpet was still wet in the morning and we found that they had cleaned the carpet the day before. When we left at 6:50 am, breakfast still was not available. The people at the front desk were nice, but the motel needs maintenance. The maintenance guy was very nice and helpful, but it was for things we should not have needed. The location was great, right off Hwy 50, close to restaurants. The internet was not working while we were there, and it was not a service problem, it was a hotel problem.
