Particuliere vakantiehuizen in Pipestem

'There are definitely some issues going on with this rental. The bathroom fills with a scent of raw sewage if you keep the door closed like we did to keep our dog out. You couldn’t even breathe in there with the window opened. I failed to read all of the reviews before I booked it and it seems like I’m not the first person who has had this problem. It is dog friendly, which is wonderful however it is about 15 feet from a road that is 55 miles an hour which makes things very loud with the thin...

'So, it’s not a terrible property, but it was rather disappointing that it is so close to the highway and some of the neighbors have a dog that barks at all hours outside, that’s all bearable, but it rained the first morning of our dtat and for the rest of the stay water was coming up through the seams in the flooring when we walked around causing socks and feet to get wet constantly. I informed the owner, and they said they’d have someone look at it, but it seems like something that has been...

'Lovely historic home, great for a big family. Wonderful host, perfect location.'

'The host, Anita, is so sweet. She brought us welcoming treat. I love the stories all over the walls and the little interesting bits about the 50's everywhere. The place is beautiful. We even had a visit from an adorable little trash panda as well as some kitties to hangout with.'

'Very nice clean and a great place to stay '

'This tiny little cabin is just what we needed. It has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The only thing I wish my wife could have done taking a bath in the outside tub. We will definitely be back. We also celebrated our 22nd Wedding Anniversary'

'The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. It was very comfortable for a one night stay! Some things that would be nice to add include a nightstand on both sides of each bed, as applicable, and lamps! (all lighting was overhead and harsh). There were also no checkout instructions; I had to text the host to ask what we needed to do. A printed/laminated copy would be helpful to have in the house. Overall, we would happily stay here again - even more so if the above suggestions...

'Beautiful property with a homey feeling in a quiet, country-like setting, while having the travelers convenience of a Dollar General store and 2 gas stations less than a mile away. Every room is spacious, including the bathroom. We were especially pleased with the thoughtfulness the owners took into account for younger children, which our granddaughter absolutely loved. The larger deck featured a sturdy tile patio table and 6 chairs, which we took advantage of each day for outdoor breakfast and...

'Our family loved our stay at the Elouise. Cabins were clean, outdoor space was great, and being right on the river was amazing.'

'Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!'

'Wonderfully scenic property along a creek. The extensive outdoor spaces were great and we enjoyed the comfortable seating by the fire pit. Communication with the host was timely. I would book again. A few notes for future travelers - the upstairs bedrooms are not furnished as shown in the photos - more like dorm bed frames now - not sure if this is temporary? If you want to drink wine/have glassware bring your own (thanks to another review we did). If the wifi is out - let them know ASAP. We...

'Love staying at your place! Always quiet and comfy home away from home!'

'Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views.'

'River was fun and good for wading but not ideal for swimming at the house.'
