'Prima service. Ze doen wat ze beloven. Tijdig boeken icm een vliegticket zorgt voor een prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Mooie omgeving en gunstig gelegen voor shopping en uitgaan/eten. Parkeren kost 35 dollar per dag, maar de valetservice is uitstekend. Half uurtje rijden naar LAX.'

'Wonderful, quiet boutique hotel, beautifully designed with a charming, warm feel. Felt very upscale and chic but cozy as well. Loved the unique (but useful) amenities and details in my room…high quality robe, champagne coupes and other high end glassware, great selection of unique alcohols and snacks. 'We arrived early and George was giving perfect service at valet parking. A pitty that at 4 pm the suite was still not ready for check in. Lady at reception was not so understanding/ service oriented. However, George was doing a great job with his bar tender at the rooftop bar. We had a great evening and perfect stay. The rooftop outlook is great. Room 351 is spacious, clean and comfortable for staying as a family of 4 with teenagers. '

'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

"The 60's decor is what attracted me a couple of years ago when I first stayed at the Beverly Laurel hotel. In addition to that it is conveniently located near the Beverly Center and The Grove, perfect for people who enjoy walking. The front desk staff was friendly and they even recognized me from earlier trips! The only thing I missed was housekeeping every day... or maybe every other day... but there were plenty of towels and I keep a clean house and room, so I was okay otherwise. If you like excess and luxury this hotel is not for you. However, if you like the charm of yesteryear combined with modern day amenities, a huge bed and peace and quiet, this could be your next stay!"
