'We have spend an amazing week in this holiday home. The house was perfect for our 3 families with young children. The pool was perfect for the children: with steps and a safety fence. The owners live right next door but they are very nice and we didn’t see them at all, unless we needed help with something. We highly recommend this holiday home!'

'We had a wonderfull week in the gites of Steve and Rob, surrounded by their own vineyard. The gite has everything needed, enough space, nice bedroom and bathroom, a covered car parking, outdoor furniture. We could also enjoy the garden and the petanque court, which Steve and Rob share with the guests. 'Très agréable séjour dans une maison qui offre toutes les commodités ! Nous n'avions pas besoin de sortir ! Tout était là ! Un très joli parc arboré où Mr le paon prenait plaisir à déambuler ! La piscine, un véritable atout, notamment par sa taille (9×5 m), fut très appréciée pendant ces jours de forte canicule ! On ne risque pas de s'y ennuyer avec tous les jeux qu'elle propose, de la table de billard, aux jeux de société, en passant par le baby-foot ! Finalement, chacun y trouve son compte !...

Een fantastische streek, dichtbij Bergerac en historische dorpen. Het kasteel van Monbazillac ligt vlakbij. Supervriendelijke en warme gastheer Serge en gastvrouw Béatrice die de privacy respecteren maar tot en met behulpzaam zijn. 'Mooie plek, mooi huis, geweldig zwembad, prachtig uitzicht. Slecht internet, tv werkte niet en weinig informatie over huis, toebehoren en regio bij inchecken. Boven geen toilet, niet handig. De banken waren doorgezakt dus zitten was niet echt comfortabel. Lekker bed.'

'We hebben een leuke vakantie gehad, er zijn echter wel wat verbeterpunten voor de accommodatie. Vooral buiten, het zwembad erom heen moet afgemaakt worden. Nu liep je in de steentjes en die kwamen ook in het zwembad. Jammer, want het is een mooie plek die net niet af is. En in het huis gaat de wc deur naar binnen open. Erg onhandig met naar het toilet gaan en als je niet goed zou worden op het toilet kunnen ze niet bij je komen. De bedden zijn niet allemaal van de beste kwaliteit. Wij zijn vrij...

'We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future'

A few downsides are the short beds for most Europeans and the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (only an issue when it is 35 degrees for multiple days in a row), but the rooms 2 were spacious enough for 6 people.
